How to Write a Good Argumentative Research Paper
How to Write a Good Argumentative Research PaperIn a not so distant past when I was in college, I attended a lecture on argumentative research where the speaker had a debate with another student on how to construct research papers. The debate was quite intense and nearly heated up to a point where we were both shouting at each other to make the point, but in the end the other student said to his own despair, 'Well I just don't know, but you just can't write that research paper that you've been looking for and it's just really bothering me!'I have many ideas about writing well, but this one struck me as odd and in the future, I have a hard time thinking of research papers that I am not fighting for some ideal or cause that I feel passionately about. I also have ideas that I wish I could explain to the best of my ability, but I do not think my reasoning skills are sufficient to give a good argumentation.I have no problem with people who do not have the gift of verbal artistry. However, if someone does not know how to compose the best argumentative research paper, they certainly can not create such an important research paper on a topic that will surely be scrutinized by many others in the field. That is why I would like to provide some information to my colleagues in the field of research writing so that they can better understand how we are able to write so well and persuade others on just about any topic.A good argumentative research paper is usually written well and convincing by understanding all the proper points. The very first point of the paper is to define the main point. After that, it should be explained as clearly as possible. This is the beginning of the argumentation, and it needs to include the most essential points that the rest of the paper will support.Next, it is important to establish a strong case with support from all sources. Here, the ideas presented in the argumentative research paper should be backed up by citations, quotes, references, and the existence of such reference works. The final point of the paper should always be supported by a high quality thesis statement.Writing a good argumentative research paper is not only about supporting a thesis, it is also about supporting evidence. A good argumentative research paper does not need just one source to support it. It needs to use as many sources as possible to make sure that it is thoroughly supported by reference materials and the support of excellent academic arguments.Writing persuasive arguments is a skill that you have to develop to get better at writing and winning arguments. In order to become a better writer, you must read and study so that you can improve the writing skills that you have. Some other ways to improve the writing skills are to spend more time with friends, journaling, and developing those academic skills that will help you write better.
